Denmark took 40 athletes to the 2008 Summer Paralympics in China's Beijing in part.

The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the athlete Jackie Christiansen . He also achieved the team's best result with a gold and a silver medal. As a success bonus, Team Danmark gave the Danish medalists the following bonus: DKK 40,000 for a gold medal, DKK 15,000 for a silver medal and DKK 5,000 for a bronze medal.
