Nigeria took the 24 athletes 2008 Summer Paralympics in China's Beijing in part.
When the teams marched in, the flag was carried by Adekunle Adesoji . The athletes won a total of nine medals. The most successful participant was the athlete Eucharia Njideka Iyiazi , who won gold in discus and shot put and achieved sixth place in javelin throw.
