Cuba took 35 athletes at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in China's Beijing in part.
The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the athlete Yunidis Castillo . She was also the most successful athlete on the Cuban team with two gold medals that she won in the 100-meter and 200-meter races in the T46 class.
