Brazil took 199 athletes at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in China's Beijing in part.
The Brazilian athletes recorded a total of 47 medals, of which 16 were gold, 14 silver and 17 bronze medals. The flag bearer when the team moved in was the judoka Antonio Tenorio Silva .
