New Zealand took 30 athletes in seven sports at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in China's Beijing in part. In addition to the athletes, nine other people, including trainers, doctors and supervisors, accompanied the team.
The flag bearer when the team moved in was wheelchair rugby player Sholto Taylor .
