Jordan competed with twelve athletes in the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China . The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the athlete Jamil El-Shebli. In addition to the powerlifter Omar Qarada, he achieved a silver medal as the team's greatest success.
