The parliamentary elections in Hungary in 1906 took place in Transleithanien from April 29th to May 8th, 1906 . The Hungarian Reichstag ( Hungarian Magyar Országgyűlés ) was newly occupied .
Electoral system
In the Kingdom of Hungary and its crown lands , class suffrage had been in effect since 1867 . Privileges of class and property were much more decisive in Hungary than in Austria.
Election result
The independence and 48 party emerged as the winner of the election . It received the absolute majority with 61.26% (61.26%).
