Paul von Stockbauer

Paul Ritter von Stockbauer (born September 30, 1826 in Oberkogl near Tiefenbach, † November 15, 1893 in Passau ) was a Bavarian lawyer and politician.

Career

Stockbauer was born in Oberkogl in 1826 as the son of the farmer Wolfgang Stockbauer and his wife Theres Weiß. He studied civil law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . In 1848 he became a member of the Corps Bavaria Munich . From 1867 until his death he was the legally qualified mayor of Passau . From 1870 to 1875 he was a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Bavarian State Parliament . In 1892 he was raised to the personal nobility.
