Paulus Vennebusch

Paulus Vennebusch (born January 8, 1968 in Paderborn ) is a German author .

Life

After graduating from high school in Cologne and subsequent community service , he began studying German and art history in Bonn in 1989 and completed it in 1995 with a master's thesis on the writer Robert Gernhardt . Vennebusch has four children and lives in Cologne and Ramscheid (Eifel).

Since 1994 Vennebusch has been working as a freelance writer for television , radio and stage , mainly in the areas of show and comedy . In addition, songs with German lyrics are created. In 1994 he began his career as a TV writer on the comedy show RTL Saturday Night . Until 1998 he was part of the permanent writing team and became the show's headwriter in the fourth season . Vennebusch took particular care of the comedians Stefan Jürgens ( Derrick , Karl Ranseier , Kentucky screams fuck ) and Olli Dittrich ( news from Spocht , Hobbythek ).

This was followed by activities for numerous German TV formats such as Die Wochenshow , Ingo Appelt Show , Was guckst du und Zimmer frei , as well as for sketch formats such as Mensch Markus , Die Dreisten Drei und Sechserpack . He also provides moderation texts and laudations for numerous TV shows, galas and award ceremonies such as Understand Spass , Bambi , Die Goldene Kamera , Goldene Henne , Deutschland sucht den Superstar, Sing my Song, Forever Cult or Everything for Friendship. . Vennebusch also developed his own format ideas. He was involved in the development of the sketch comedy Comedy dell'Arte (theater channel) and the improvisation comedy Uncle Fisch auffem Dorf .

Since 2011 von Vennebusch has published over 30 books, which he writes under his own name and as a ghostwriter for TV comedians. Vennebusch has been involved as an author in thirteen stage programs so far for Stefan Jürgens , Guido Cantz , Ingolf Lück and Max Giermann (partly with co-authors). Guido Cantz and Jürgen von der Lippe perform some of Vennebusch's songs.
