Pekude ( Biblical Hebrew פְקוּדֵי 'The Counts' refers to a reading section (called Parascha or Sidra) of the Torah and includes the text Exodus / Schemot 38.21–40.38 (38.21–31 BHS , 39 BHS , 40 BHS ).

It is the cider of the 1st Shabbat in the month of Adarscheni or, if (as is usually the case) combined with Wajakhel , the 4th or 5th Shabbat in the month of Adar .

  • Amount of received donations of gold, silver and copper and their use
  • Making the priestly robes
  • Erecting of the tabernacle on the 1st of the 1st month of the 2nd year after leaving Egypt
  • Arrangement of the devices
  • The tent is enveloped in a cloud, the rising of which is an order to set out for camp

Haftara

The associated Haftara is according to Ashkenazi rite 1 Kings 7.51–8.21, (7.51 BHS , 8.1–21 BHS ), according to Sephardic Rite 1 Kings 7.40–50  BHS .
