Beschalach ( Biblical Hebrew בְּשַׁלַּח When he had let ' - supplement: the Pharaoh the people of Israel ) denotes a reading portion ( parasha or Sidra called) of the Torah , and includes the text of Exodus / Shemot 13.17 to 17.16 (13.17 to 22 BHS , 14 BHS , 15 BHS , 16 BHS , 17 BHS ).
