Ha'asinu ( Biblical Hebrew הַאֲזִינוּ 'Hear' - to be added: “you heaven”) is a reading section ( Parascha or Sidra ) of the Torah and includes the text Dtn 32  EU .

It is the cider of the 2nd Shabbat in the month of Tishri .

  • Sins of the people are only for their own misfortune, they show themselves to be ungrateful to God's good deeds
  • In the good life, the people disdain their god and turn to foreign gods

  • Moses recited this song to the people and emphasized its importance
  • Moses climbs Mount Nebo , where he is supposed to die: “You can see the land from the other side of the valley. But you must not enter the land that I will give to the Israelites ”(verse 52)

With regard to the associated Haftara, there are case distinctions and also different traditions. The most common reading is Hosea 14.2–10  EU .
