Wajeze ( Biblical Hebrew וַיֵּצֵא 'And he = Jacob went out' ) denotes a reading section (called Parascha or Sidra) of the Torah and includes the text Bereshit 28.10–32.3 (28.10–22 BHS , 29 BHS , 30 BHS , 31 BHS , 32 , 1-3 BBB ).

It is the cider of the 1st or 2nd Shabbats in the month of Kislew .

The associated Haftara is (according to the Ashkenazi rite) Hosea 12.13-14.10 (12.13-15 BHS , 14.1-10 BHS ). In the Sephardic region, Hosea 11.7-12.12 (11.7-11 BHS , 12.1-12 BHS ) is read.
