Peres Jepchirchir

Peres Jepchirchir (born September 27, 1993 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in road racing.

In 2016, she ran the seventh-best time in Ras al-Khaimah , which was run in the half marathon course this year .

The Kenyan became the world champion in the half marathon in Cardiff in March 2016 , defeating her compatriots Cynthia Jerotich Limo (2nd) and Mary Wacera Ngugi (3rd), with whom she also won the world title in the team competition.

At the RAK half marathon in Ra's al-Khaimah , United Arab Emirates , she won in 2017 in a world record time of 65:06 minutes, before Joyciline Jepkosgei beat this time just over a month later .
