Pilgram is a village in the market and cadastral community of Münzbach in the Perg district in Upper Austria .

geography

The village, consisting of scattered houses with 74 inhabitants as of January 1, 2001, is located in the northeast of the cadastral community of Münzbach.

It borders the village of Sulzbach to the north and the villages of Danndorf , Innernstein and Obergaisberg to the east , all of which belong to the cadastral community of Innernstein, which is also part of the Münzbach market. To the west and south-west of Pilgram is the Münzbach market . In the south, the village of Mollnegg approaches Pilgram.

Pilgram belongs to the Upper Austrian spatial unit Aist-Naarn-Kuppenland .

Moar-Koppler-Föhre natural monument

The Moar-Koppler-Föhre natural monument is located on one of the highest points in the village . The carved Marian relief on the natural monument was renewed in the 1980s. The tree is considered to be an alignment tree. The Taiding, the judgment day of the market, took place on certain days in front of this pine tree.

The highest point in the village is 499  m above sea level. A. shown at the Lang farm.

Small monuments

There are some small monuments in the village :

  • Wayside shrines on the walls of the houses Pilgram 4 (granite pillars made of two pieces with empty niches and a base made of giant granite stones connected with concrete), Bern - Pilgram 9 (chapel shrine with a statue of the Madonna in a niche, Vorderhuber) - Pilgram 13 (built around 1900 and renovated in 1988 , furthermore a Pieta from 1902, which was also renovated in 1988). In 1971 a Marterl was built on Obernstrasse to commemorate the accident of a child in 1971.
  • Lang Chapel: with a statue of the Virgin Mary with baby Jesus, dressed in a halo, in a glass shrine, as well as two angels, presumably from the Dominican monastery in Münzbach , further pictures of the Sacred Heart, Mary of the Heart, Lourdes picture, a Pieta and several devotional pictures.
  • Langeder Chapel: built in place of a dilapidated chapel and blessed in 1978 and equipped with a new, carved statue of the Virgin Mary.
  • Ratzinger Chapel: built instead of a dilapidated chapel and blessed in 1982 and equipped with a new, carved statue of the Virgin Mary.
