Pinhal Interior Sul is a statistical sub-region of Portugal with an area of ​​1906 km² and 39,805 inhabitants (2009). It is part of the Região Centro and divided between the districts of Castelo Branco and Santarém . In the north, Pinhal Interior Norte and Cova da Beira , in the east Beira Interior Sul , in the south Alto Alentejo and in the west Médio Tejo border the sub-region.

The sub-region consists of the following five circles:

• Mação
• Oleiros
• Proença-a-Nova
• Sertã
• Vila de Rei
