Polina Pasztircsák (International spelling: Pastirchak) (born September 24, 1982 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian opera and concert singer with a soprano voice .

biography

Training and first appearances

Polina Pasztircsák comes from a Hungarian-Russian family of artists with Slovak and German roots. As part of her music studies in Hungary and Italy , she took courses and master classes by well-known artists, such as B. Jewgeni Nesterenko , Mirella Freni , Bernd Weikl , Adrienne Csengery and Matthias Goerne participated. She gained her first stage experience in Modena in 2007 with one of the leading roles in the contemporary opera Le piccole storie by Lorenzo Ferrero . Your success at the Concours de Genèvein 2009 paved the way for an international career. Since 2011 she has been a regular guest at the Hungarian State Opera. She has been working as a lieder singer with the pianist Jan Philip Schulze since 2010 . The repertoire of this lied duo includes works by Bartók, Kodály, Dohnányi, Liszt, Ravel, Debussy, Kurtág, which a. a. in the Zurich Tonhalle (2015), at the Budapest Spring Festival (2015) and in the Capitole Toulouse (2018).
