The Sikorska case is a television film from the crime series Polizeiruf 110 . The 373rd episode of the film series first aired on November 25, 2018. It is the 14th case of Chief Inspector Olga Lenski and the sixth with Chief Inspector Adam Raczek.
action
19-year-old Paula Borchert is rescued from the Oder near Frankfurt . Commissioner Lenski and her colleague Raczek are taking over the investigation. They follow two leads: Paula was employed as an au pair by the single parent Leo Heise . His father Gerd Heise was accused 15 years ago of having sexually molested his stepdaughter Julia; this disappeared a little later without a trace. Julia's biological father, Pawel Sikorski, considers him guilty of the girl's disappearance and considers it likely that he is also responsible for Paula's violent death. According to autopsy and DNA analysis, Paula had sexual intercourse with the young Pole Marcin Zieliński before her death .
Marcin initially admits that he slept with Paula a few days before her death. This happened once and at the urging of Paula when he drove her home after a party. He lives in a relationship with Milena Kaczmarek, who should not find out about this incident. Gerd Heise denies ever getting too close to Julia or Paula. However, Lenski finds out that he gave up a job in Potsdam eight years ago after trying to rape a young colleague there. This, Kerstin Briese, did not report him at the time because of insufficient evidence and is still not ready to testify to the police. From Sikorski, however, Lenski learns that Heise was not in the hospital on Julia's disappearance, contrary to what was noted in the duty roster, but instead had a colleague represent him during two operations.
When Milena finds pictures of Paula taken secretly on Marcin's laptop, she reports this to the police. In the subsequent interrogation by Raczek, Marcin admits that he met Paula on the evening of the disappearance and that he wanted her to stay. That is enough for Raczek to make an arrest. Briese has now contacted Lenski. She is now ready to testify and also gives Lenski photos of her injuries at the time, which her lawyer had taken at the time. The statement of a former classmate of Julia's also indicates that Julia wanted to meet Heise. Nevertheless, he claims to have been in the operating room during this period. Due to the accusation of attempted rape and the contradicting information about Heises's stay, Lenski had the Heises' house investigated. Remains of removed blood can be found in the house and Julia's body is found in a well that has fallen dry in the Heises garden.

Reviews
“Like director Kornatz, the screenwriters Bernd Lange and Hans-Christian Schmid also take up a topic they have already dealt with in this crime thriller, namely that of creeping alienation within families, which they already described in the ARD series ' Das Disappearance ' . Their German-Polish 'police call', which they happily staged in two languages over a distance, they are now skillfully keeping in suspense for investigative purposes. "
“The Sikorska case by director Stefan Kornatz […] winds its way, touches the present and the past, touches the ' Me Too ' debate, touches German-Polish sensitivities depending on the location, touches a lot and doesn't really touch. A classic crime thriller, characterized by narrative comfort. To put it this way: This time the Oder is a very long, very calm river. "
