occupation

Lost is a television film by Andreas Kleinert from the crime series Polizeiruf 110 . The film, produced on behalf of Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR), was first broadcast on September 21, 2003. Chief Inspector Jens Hinrichs ( Uwe Steimle ) and Chief Inspector Tobias Törner ( Henry Hübchen ) are investigating this case.

action

A woman is found dead in a boat between flowers and vegetables and has to be identified by Hinrichs and Törner. Commissioner Törner, who came to Schwerin from Berlin and is now Hinrich's new partner, will initially be the only guest in a hotel.

Kim, the daughter of the unemployed cross-racer Carlo, finds out on a race weekend that she is not wanted there because her father wants to have fun with his new girlfriend. She escapes unnoticed and finds shelter at night with the strange voyeur Klasen, who lives in isolation. In search of the identity of the dead in the boat, the investigators also come across the old class with whom Kim is still hiding. During their visit, however, the commissioners did not notice the 11-year-old girl.

The autopsy of the corpse shows that the woman was frozen to death two months ago and was not murdered. The hermit Klasen later admits to having put the dead woman in the boat in order to bury her as solemnly as he does with his animals.

The mother does not miss Kim at first, as she assumes that she is on the run with her father after all. The only employee of the hotel now works in a disco, where Törner sees her again. Kim's mother Jeanette is there with a friend and tries to seduce young men and fails miserably. Only when Carlo comes home the next day with the trophy but without Kim do they report the disappearance to the police, who immediately start a manhunt. As a result, Törner and Hinrichs remember Klasen again, when they noticed suspicious items of clothing during their visits. The next morning, Kim escapes from Klasen's house and meets Hinrichs at the bus stop, who wants to take the girl home.

At the end of the film, Törner paddles up the river in a canoe and enjoys the fresh air.
