Priemern is a district of the Altmärkische Höhe community in the Stendal district in Saxony-Anhalt .

geography

The village of Priemern was first mentioned in 1323 as a villa primer . The von Retfelde endowed their sisters who were accepted into the Arendsee Monastery with income (elevations) from the village. Incorporations

On September 30, 1928, the Priemern manor was combined with the Priemern rural community. The Priemern forester's lodge belonged to the manor district. On July 1, 1950, the municipality of Priemern from the district of Osterburg was incorporated into the municipality of Losse . On November 22nd, 1967, the district of Priemern was assigned to the municipality of Bretsch .

Through the merger of Bretsch with other communities to form Altmärkische Höhe on January 1, 2010, Priemern became a separate district of the Altmärkische Höhe community.
