    Duel arena

Big Brother determines a resident from "above" who has to go to the duel arena. This “Above” candidate must choose one of the “Below” residents to play against him. In the duel arena, the two play a game and the loser has to face consequences for his living area. In the event of a tie, the “top” residents always win.

In the broadcast on August 18, 2015, the rules were changed: One resident from above and one below plays for his entire team. The winning team moves up and the losing team moves down. Above you get plenty of food again, while the residents below have to feed themselves with bread and water. Furthermore, the living conditions (such as fewer opportunities to sleep) were further deteriorated in the lower range. In addition, in this sequence, the entire respective team jointly determines who has to compete for the respective area, "above" or "below". In the event of a tie, there would be an estimation question.
