The province of Chincha is one of five provinces of the Ica region on the Pacific coast of Peru.

Geographical location

The province of Chincha borders the provinces Cañete and Yauyos (Lima) in the north, the province Castrovirreyna (Huancavelica) in the east, the province Pisco in the south and the Pacific Ocean in the west .

Administrative division

The province of Chincha is divided into 11 districts ( distritos ). The Chincha Alta district is the seat of the provincial administration.
