The Raiffeisenbank eG Büchen • Crivitz • Hagenow • Plate is a cooperative bank with a legal seat in the municipality Büchen in the Duchy of Lauenburg in Schleswig-Holstein . The administrative headquarters are in the town of Hagenow in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

history

Today's Raiffeisenbank eG was founded on December 15, 1923 as a savings and loan fund eGmuH Büchen (registered cooperative with unlimited liability based in Büchen) by 15 people. These were farmers from the surrounding towns of Büchens and members of the association of Schleswig-Holstein agricultural cooperatives in Kiel. The first chairman of the board was farmer Heinrich Schütt from Fitzen. The cooperative dealt with the management of savings, the granting of credit, the sale of agricultural products and the delivery of seeds and fertilizers . In 1963 it was converted into a savings and loan fund with limited liability. In 1968 the merger with the savings and loan bank Witzeeze eGmbH, which was founded on January 26, 1912, took place. In 1974 the savings and loan bank eGmbH Büchen changed its name to Raiffeisenbank eGmbh Büchen. In 1978 the company merged with Raiffeisenbank eG Müssen , which had once been founded on June 29, 1896.

With the German reunification in 1990 contacts arose between the Raiffeisenbank Büchen and the Raiffeisenbank Hagenow , which resulted in the merger of the Raiffeisenbank Büchen-Hagenow at the end of 1990. The Raiffeisenbank eG Hagenow was previously created from the merger of the Hagenow branch of the "Bank for Agriculture and Food Industry of the GDR - BLN" and the VdgB -BHG eG Hagenow ("Association of Mutual Farmers Aid") and the separation of the goods department into its own Raiffeisen trading cooperative. Raiffeisenbank eG was one of the first cooperatives to have locations on both sides of the former inner-German border . In 1992 the Raiffeisenbank Büchen-Hagenow merged with the Raiffeisen- und Handelsgenossenschaften Plate (founded in 1890 as a savings and loan association eGmuH) and Crivitz . In 1995 the merger with the goods cooperative in Möhnsen (founded in 1908 as an agricultural reference association eGmuH, Möhnsen). In the same year Raiffeisenbank eG opened its petrol station in Pampow . In 2012, parts of the Raiffeisenwarengenossenschaft Brahlstorf were acquired. As a result, the Raiffeisen store in Lübenheen and the petrol station in Vellahn were added to Raiffeisenbank eG. On June 30, 2017, the general meeting decided to sell the agricultural trade with the locations in Müssen and Möhnsen due to the structural change in previous years. The markets and filling stations will continue to operate.
