Ramsey is located in the northern suburbs of the cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul on the right bank of the Mississippi at 45 ° 15'39 "north latitude and 93 ° 26'33" west longitude. The urban area extends over 77.16 km², which is spread over 74.62 km² of land and 2.54 km² of water.

Northstar Line

The US Highway 10 , of the portion of the Minnesota here Great River Road forms, in parallel to the Mississippi by Ramsey. The US Highway 169 runs on the same route through the town. Minnesota State Route 47 runs through the eastern districts in a north-south direction . All other roads are subordinate, partly unpaved roads as well as inner-city connecting roads.
