Tiefenbroich is a district in the west of Ratingen .

This district, which is largely dominated by single and multi-family houses, has 6,430 residents (as of December 31, 2013). The Angerbach , along which there is a preferred settlement area with a lot of greenery, separates the north and south of Tiefenbroich. In the west, Tiefenbroich extends along the federal highway 52 . The Tiefenbroich motorway junction is where the connection road to neighboring Lintorf crosses the federal motorway 52 . The foothills of the Breitscheid motorway junction , one of the busiest motorway junctions in Germany, begin in the far north . In the south, Tiefenbroich ends at the Düsseldorf-Nord motorway junction , where the A 52 meets the federal motorway 44 .

Located in the eastern part of Tiefenbroich, there is an industrial area in which emission-free metal processing companies that have historically been influenced by the region ( Ruhrgebiet / Bergisches Land ) have settled. Furthermore, due to the proximity to Düsseldorf Airport and the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center , modern office complexes have established themselves there, which are home to mobile phone providers and IT service providers. The retail sector has also discovered this potential and is positioning a factory outlet “culture” with increasing commitment.

The relatively well-developed infrastructure also has a negative impact on the quality of living in very few areas.
