Raul "Raulzinho" Togni Neto (born May 19, 1992 in Belo Horizonte , Brazil ) is a Brazilian basketball player .

Career

society

Neto started his career at the Brazilian club Minas Tênis Clube . In 2011 he moved to Spain to San Sebastián Gipuzkoa BC . In the 2013 NBA draft , he was selected 47th by the Atlanta Hawks . However, his rights were sold to the Utah Jazz . However, he did not move to the NBA , but stayed in Spain. On August 1, 2014, he signed with CB Murcia .

In the summer of 2015 he switched to the Utah Jazz. Due to the serious knee injury of the nominal point guard Dante Exum , Neto was promoted directly to the starter in his first year and for his good performance he represented the world selection at the NBA All-Star Weekend Rookie Challenge . With the signing of Shelvin Mack, Neto moved back on the bench, but played a convincing debut season, which he finished with 5.9 points and 2.1 assists on average. With Dante Exum's recovery, Neto fell behind in the rotation. Neto remained at Jazz for the next few years as the third point guard behind Ricky Rubio and Exum. His contract was extended in summer 2018. He came to 5.3 points and 2.5 assists per game in 37 season appearances.

In the summer of 2019, Neto signed a new deal with the Philadelphia 76ers after being recently fired from the Jazz.

National team

Neto has played for the Brazilian national team since the 2010 World Basketball Championship . He also participated in the 2012 Olympics and 2016 and at the World Basketball Championship in 2014 in part.
