Entrepreneur

Raymond Boutinaud runs a company in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges in the Val-de-Marne department that prepares and restores Porsche racing cars for racing. A large parts sales department and a racing driver school are connected.

Racing career

Raymond Boutinaud competed twice, in 1983 and 1984 , in a Porsche 928 S in the Le Mans 24-hour race . He built the racing car himself in his workshop and drove the 1983 race with Patrick Gonin and Alain Le Page . After many technical problems, the team was not classified due to a lack of distance covered. The following year, Boutinaud tried again with an improved vehicle. This time he crossed the finish line after 24 hours and, with his teammates Philippe Renault and Giles Guinand , placed 22nd overall. In 1984 he took part in some races of the sports car world championship with the Porsche , but never reached the checkered flag.
