Nuremberg 200 mile race in 1987
The 200-mile race in Nuremberg in 1987 , also 200 miles from Nuremberg, World Sports Car Championship (ADAC Norisring Trophy & Bilstein Cup), Norisring , took place on June 28 at the Norisring and was the sixth round of the World Sports Car Championship this year.
The race
In 1987 , a race for the World Sports Car Championship also took place on a racetrack on which the German racing championship was usually held , the Norisring . Due to the short distance - the Norisring is only 2.3 kilometers long - the race was carried out in two rounds. The respective teammate had to contest the second run.
Mauro Baldi won the first run ahead of Hans-Joachim Stuck and Frank Jelinski . In the second, Raul Boesel won ahead of Jonathan Palmer and Jochen Mass , which resulted in an overall victory for Baldi and Palmer in the Porsche 962C .
