Remixed Prayers is a Remix - EP of American singer-songwriter Madonna . The EP was released in August 1989 by Sire Records and Warner Bros. Records as an addition to the album Like a Prayer (1989) only in Japan . In July 1993 the EP was released in Australia when Madonna first gave concerts in Australia on her The Girlie Show Tour.

Background information

The EP contains five remixed versions of Like a Prayer and three of Express Yourself . The EP was also imported into the United States , the United Kingdom and many other countries, but was never officially released there except in Japan and Australia .

The cover image is from Madonna's brother Christopher Ciccone. The "MLVC" signature on the cover image means "Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone" and the "P" on the head represents her separation from ex-husband Sean Penn .

The EP reached number 24 on the Oricon album charts in 1989 and stayed in the album charts for a total of 5 weeks.
