criticism

Polls on the state elections in Baden-Württemberg in 1992 and the state elections in Baden-Württemberg in 1996 , in which the Allensbach Institute put the polls of the party The Republicans far too low, caused public criticism . Allensbach forecast 4.5 or 4 percent share of the vote. The actual election results for the Republicans were, however, 10.9 and 9.1 percent. In an interview on the incidents, Renate Köcher admitted that she did not want to offer the party a platform and that she had therefore not published the higher polls she knew in the run-up to the election. This approach met with criticism in journalism and science.
