The Ritzeroder Dünen nature reserve is located in the municipality of Niederkrüchten in the Viersen district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The approximately 5.30 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1982 , extends south of the "Oberkrüchten" part of the community of Niederkrüchten .
