The nature reserve Boisheimer Nette and Brüggenerhütte is located in the area of ​​the municipality of Schwalmtal and the city of Viersen in the district of Viersen in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The approximately 64.24 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1993 , extends west of the core town of Viersen along the Nette . On the eastern edge of the area runs the state road L 29, on the northern edge and to the west it is the L 3. The A 61 runs to the north .
