The nature reserve Krickenbecker Seen and Kleiner De Wittsee is located in the area of ​​the town of Nettetal in the district of Viersen in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The approximately 718.7 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 2006 , extends east of Leuth , a district of Nettetal, directly on the federal road 221 , which passes on the western edge . It includes the Krickenbeck lakes and the Kleiner De-Witt-See . In the southern area, the state road  373 crosses the area. The state border with the Netherlands runs to the west and federal motorway 61 to the southwest . The Nette flows through the area in full.

The nature reserve is part of the EU bird sanctuary " Schwalm-Nette-Platte with Grenzwald and Meinweg ".
