Red list of Germany's breeding birds
The red list of breeding birds in Germany is a red list of the endangered breeding birds in Germany . It is published by the National Committee for the Red List of Birds on behalf of the German Council for Bird Protection and is currently available in the 5th version from November 30, 2016.
Body
The "National Committee for the Red List of Birds" is a member of the German Council for Bird Protection. V. (DRV) set up a committee that independently creates the Red List of Birds in Germany. It consists of representatives of the DRV, the regional working group of the state bird protection centers (LAG-VSW), the German Ornithologists Society e. V. (DO-G), the umbrella association of German Avifaunists e. V. (DDA), the Working Group of the German Bird Observatories and the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN).
Red list of breeding birds in Germany (2015)
The fifth version of the Red List of Breeding Birds in Germany was completed on November 30, 2015, appeared in August 2016 and replaces the previous list from 2007. Since 2007, the “Methodical Instructions for Creating Red Lists of Endangered Animals, Plants and Fungi” have been used for this purpose.
