Rudolf Kasimir von Müllenheim , actually Friedrich Rudolph Casimir von Müllenheim and von Rechberg (born April 5, 1740 in Tenkitten , † January 28, 1814 in Walkaschken ) was a Prussian major general and heir to Adlig-Woduhnheim (Wodunythen, Woduniten, Bettauen or Wonditten) in the Friedland district .

Life

His parents were Theophil Gebhard von Müllenheim (* February 17, 1686 - December 22, 1757) and his wife Maria Luise Eleonore, born von Lehwald († January 17, 1741) from the Ottlau family. His father was a gentleman on Tenkitten , Prussian lieutenant colonel and Amtshauptmann in Prussian Mark.

Military career

Müllenheim came in 1756 as a corporal in the infantry regiment "von Lehwaldt" of the Prussian army . During the Seven Years' War he fought in the battles near Groß-Jägersdorf , Zorndorf , Kay , Kunersdorf , Torgau , Freiberg , the battles near Maxen , Meißen and Strehlen, and the sieges of Demmin and Dresden . In the period Müllheim was born on October 21, 1757 Ensign and advanced to June 1763 First Lieutenant .

On June 6, 1774, Müllenheim became staff captain and on June 6, 1786, captain and company commander . As a major , he took part in the campaign in Poland in 1794/95 and was appointed battalion commander on March 8, 1795. Müllenheim took part in the Fourth Coalition War, but received his departure as major general on August 16, 1807 with a pension of 600 thalers. This pension was increased to 800 thalers on September 4, 1807, but due to the poor state finances, only half was paid out to him. Müllenheim died on January 28, 1814 in Walkaschken .

In the judgment of the colonel from 1804 it was said: “A very zealous, honest, good staff officer who does not lack good will. Maintains good discipline in his garrison, where the 2nd Battalion stands. Only the face begins to leave him very much ”.

Müllenheim married on November 1, 1774 on Schaaken Jeannette Luise von Buddenbrock (* November 11, 1739 - † March 5, 1824). The couple had several children:
