Sägmühle is a nature reserve in the Central Franconian districts of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen and Roth in Bavaria .

The area is two kilometers east of Absberg on the eastern headland between Igelsbachsee and Kleinem Brombachsee and the adjacent water area.

It was named after the sawmill , an abandoned mill in the area of what is now the Great Bromb axis . It was about 500 m to the northeast.

The core of this 32.68 hectare protected area is an extensive shallow water zone and adjacent open water areas. The shallow water zone is interspersed with several islands, between which flat silted habitats have developed. The bank is covered with pine forest. This comes close to the potential natural vegetation on the nutrient-poor, sandy soils of the region. The area is a biotope and breeding area for numerous bird species.
