Subdivision breakdown

In addition to the village of Sanne, the residential area Rudolphital and the Glänemäker natural monument belong to the district of Sanne .

history

Sanne was in 1209 as Sanne documented as Margrave Albert II the cathedral chapter of St. Nicholas in Stendal confirmed his possessions, including the Church and interest payments for land in Sanne. Further mentions are 1334 Sannen , 1540 Sanne , 1687 Sanne and 1804 Sanne village with two estates.

The place was the ancestral seat of the von Sanne family, who died in 1604. Their property later belonged to the von Klötze family, which also died out in the 17th century. The estate was divided in 1664. One manor was dismembered until 1812 and passed to 10 owners, the other manor was dissolved before 1856.

There used to be a windmill near the street “Am Mühlenberg”.

The primary school in Sanne was closed in 2014.

Lady Chapel

Wilhelm Zahn reported in 1909: “Only a hundred paces from the eastern exit of the village of Sanne, there is a hill that is popularly known as the Andreasberg. According to a document allegedly in the Jarchau estate archive , a St. Mary's Chapel is said to have stood here. "

In the farewell to the church visits of 1540 and 1600, there was a report about a vicarie Beatae Virginis belonging to the village church with a house. Zahn continues: “From the fact that there was a special vicar in addition to the pastor, one can conclude that the vicarage had a special chapel. Since there are no traces of such a thing on or near the church, it is possible that it was standing on the hill. "

prehistory

In the 20th century there were reports of slag on a settlement and a burial ground with a forge grave from the Roman Empire near Sanne.

Agriculture

During the land reform in 1945, the following were determined: 25 properties under 100 hectares had a total of 703 hectares, a church property had 41 hectares. 49 hectares were expropriated and divided between six settlers. In 1953, the first type III agricultural production cooperative, the LPG “Ready to Work”, was established. It went into liquidation in 1991.

Incorporations

On September 30, 1928, the Glänemäker Vorwerk from the Jarchau estate was merged with the rural community of Sanne. Glänemäker was later closed.

The municipal councils of the municipalities of Hassel (on: January 29th, 2009) and Sanne (on: January 27th, 2009) decided by means of a territorial change agreement that their municipalities should be dissolved and merged into a new municipality called Hassel . This contract was approved by the county as the lower local supervisory authority and came into effect on July 1, 2009.
