Santa Maria ( Filipino : Bayan ng Quirino ) is a Filipino municipality in the province of Isabela , Administrative Region II, Cagayan Valley. It has 25,382 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 20 barangays . It is classified as a fourth income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .
Santa Maria is in the far north of the province. The community lies in the plain of the Cagayan and 448 km north of Manila . It can be reached via the Marhalika Highway . Its neighboring communities are Rizal in the west, Cabagan in the south, San Pablo in the east, and Enrile in the north.
