SchleichFernsehen (Subtitle: Cabaret. Parodie. Nonsense. ) Is a 45-minute political cabaret show that has been broadcast on BR TV since June 3, 2011 .

content

The Bavarian cabaret artist Helmut Schleich slips into the roles of various prominent people, but also, for example, that of Sepp Hapflinger , a fictional external reporter with a speech impediment. In episodes from 2011 and 2014, it was also the Queen's turn.

occupation

From 2012 to 2018 Christiane Blumhoff appeared as the second moderator. Schleich is usually supported by one guest cabaret artist per program and by reporter Martin Frank . The music is performed by the Gstanzl singer , satirist and music cabaret artist Sebastian Daller , who sings three to four Gstanzl twice per broadcast, and Conny Kreitmeier with her band Stimmungsbüro Kreitmeier , who provides musical accompaniment to various transitions and scene changes.

Recurring parodies

The program is broadcast once a month on Thursdays at 9 p.m. The BR's Do bin i dahoam campaign or the talk show Münchner Runde with Schleich as moderator Traugott Sieglieb (alluding to Sigmund Gottlieb ) are regularly parodied . At the end of each Schleich TV issue there is always an imitation of the former Bavarian Prime Minister Franz Josef Strauss .

Another popular format since 2014 is Schorschi & Beppi , in which Schleich film recordings of ex-Pope Benedict XVI. (Joseph Ratzinger) and his older brother Georg with an invented dialogue. Both discuss a current topic from the Vatican . "Schorschi" regularly criticizes his brother. Every episode (which lasts about 90 seconds) ends with “Beppi” with the words “It's good that nobody is listening”.

recording

SchleichFernsehen will be recorded with the audience in BR-Studio 3 in Unterföhring until the Wednesday evening before the broadcast . Preparations for each broadcast take two weeks.

Audience ratings

On December 14, 2017, 1.09 million viewers aged three and over saw the program, which corresponded to a market share of 3.6 percent. In Bavaria, the program saw 0.65 million viewers aged three and over, which corresponded to a market share of 14.4 percent.

Trivia

Sebastian Daller is pulled out of the backdrop for each of his appearances in a white and blue drawer.
