Ettelried Castle
The castle in Ettelried , a district of the Dinkelscherben community in the Swabian district of Augsburg , was built in 1792. The castle at Von-Schnurbein-Straße 11 is a protected monument .
Building description
The two-storey building with a mansard hipped roof was built in the style of a classicist country palace. On the north side there is a staircase extension, in the west there is an opposite staircase with pillars crowned with vases. Triglyph hangings can be seen in plastered fields under the windows of the upper floor . Above the portal that has a staircase can be reached, there is the alliance coat of arms Schnurbein -Black.
