The Loibersdorf castle was located in the district Loibersdorf the church today Babensham in Rosenheim of Bavaria (house no. 13 of Kling).

history

According to the Indiculus Arnonis of 790, the area of Loibersdorf belonged to the Archdiocese of Salzburg . As early as the 12th century, Loibersdorf is documented as the seat of a nobleman, perhaps a ministerial of the archbishopric. In 1606, Loibersdorf is listed as a noble seat in a court mark description by the Kling district court . The description from 1606 reads: Is ain schöns Schlößl, Oßwaldten Khreidenhubers belongs to Sibenburg selligen Wittib and heirs . This Kreidhuber died in 1605. Subsequently there were disputes about the inheritance, which in 1613 even occupied the fiefdom room in Munich. In 1689 the Au am Inn canon monastery is proven as the owner and the building is used as the summer palace of the provosts. In 1694 a new building was built. The court rights could not be acquired until the end of the 18th century, making Loibersdorf the youngest lower court in the Kling district court.

Until the secularization of 1803, the castle belonged to the Au monastery.

Loibersdorf Castle today

The building is a simple square structure.
