Farnach Castle

The Farnach Castle is a small noble residence in the Farnach district of the Upper Bavarian municipality of Riedering in the Rosenheim district .

history

The castle from the 12th century into a fortified 1475 Castle converted. It was converted into an unfortified castle from 1700 onwards. The baroque expansion was carried out by Ignaz Anton Gunetzrhainer 1756–57.

description

The small noble seat presents itself in the present as a two-storey hipped roof building with plaster structures, the core of which is from the 16th century. A baroque expansion by Ignaz Anton Gunetzrhainer took place from 1756 to 1757.
