Scott Wilson (actor)
Scott Wilson (born March 29, 1942 in Atlanta , Georgia - † October 6, 2018 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actor .
Live and act
Since 1967 the actor has played in numerous cinema and television productions . The Canadian film director and film producer Norman Jewison discovered and cast him as a murder suspect in the film In the Heat of the Night .
Most recently, Scott Wilson appeared in the horror film Behind the Mask and in the South Korean hit film The Host . He also played Hershel Greene in the horror series The Walking Dead from 2011 to 2014 . His work as an actor includes around 80 film and television productions.
Wilson had been married since 1977 and died of leukemia in October 2018 at the age of 76 .
