Sebastian Vogl (born July 23, 1986 in Landshut ) is a German ice hockey goalkeeper who has been playing for the Straubing Tigers in the German Ice Hockey League since 2017 .

Career

The goalkeeper began his career in his hometown Landshut, where he played with the Landshut Cannibals in the German Youth League. For the 2003/04 season , Vogl signed a contract with ERC Ingolstadt from the DEL , of which he was used in the near future mainly with subsidy licenses for various cooperation partners. The Bavarian guarded the gate of his former club Landshut Cannibals in the 2005/06 season , the following year he was given a license to support the Eisbären Regensburg , but he also played for the Heilbronner Falken for some gamesbetween the posts. After Vogl had spent the 2007/08 season at EC Bad Tölz , he returned to the Falken for the 2008/09 season , for which he also appeared in the following season. In May 2010 Vogl signed a one-year contract with the Landshut Cannibals, the goalkeeper returned to his hometown after five years. He was also given a license to support the Nürnberg Ice Tigers .

In the 2011/12 season , Vogl won the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey championship with Landshut.

In May 2012 Vogl was signed by the Grizzlys Wolfsburg from the DEL and was the backup goalkeeper there for the following four years. After the 2016/17 season he left the Grizzlys and was signed by the Straubing Tigers .
