Vladislav Filin (born March 20, 1995 in Omsk ) is a German ice hockey player of Russian descent who has been under contract with the Straubing Tigers in the German Ice Hockey League since April 2018 .
career
Filin was born in Omsk, Russia, and moved with his parents to Berlin as a child, where he grew up. He went through the youth department of Eisbären Berlin and made his debut in the German ice hockey league in January 2014 in an away game in Augsburg . In the 2014/15 season he played for the juniors of EC Red Bull Salzburg in the Russian junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga (MHL) before returning to the Eisbären in summer 2015. In addition to seven DEL missions for the Berliners, Filin was on the ice with a support license for the DEL2 club Dresdner Eislöwen . His performance in the second division earned him the award as the best young professional of the 2015/16 DEL2 season.
At the end of March 2016 Filin was hired by the Nürnberg Ice Tigers DEL club and received a license for the EHC Bayreuth to gain additional match practice in the DEL2.
In June 2017 Filin was signed by the Löwen Frankfurt from the DEL2 . For the 2018/19 season he switched to the Straubing Tigers (DEL) and plays with Deggendorfer SC (DEL2) under a sponsorship license.
