Tim Brunnhuber (born January 19, 1999 in Eggenfelden ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Straubing Tigers from the DEL since the 2019/20 season .
Career
Tim Brunnhuber started playing ice hockey in the junior team of 1. EV Weiden , where he played from 2011 to 2014. The center then moved to EV Regensburg , where it was used by both the U16 team in the school league and the U19 team in the German Junior League (DNL). In the two following seasons Brunnhuber played in addition to his appearances in the DNL also in the professional team of Regensburg, which is based in the ice hockey league . For the 2017/18 season , the striker moved to league competitor EV Lindau at Lake Constance, although he was signed by the Ravensburg Towerstars from DEL 2 in the following season 2018/19 .
In February 2019, the Straubing Tigers from the German Ice Hockey League announced the commitment of the left-handed shooter.
International
Tim Brunnhuber represented Germany for the first time at the U20 World Cup 2019 , where the gold medal was won and thus the promotion to the top division.
