Maximilian Renner (born March 24, 1992 in Rosenheim ) is a German ice hockey player who will be on the ice for the Straubing Tigers from the German Ice Hockey League from the 2016/17 season .

Career

Max Renner began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Starbulls Rosenheim , for which he was active in the German youth league from 2007 to 2012 . At the same time, the defender made his senior debut for the Starbulls Rosenheim in the 2009/10 season , with whom he immediately rose to the 2nd Bundesliga as a champion of the third-class ice hockey league. There he came in the 2010/11 season in his first year in the professional field to a goal in a total of 37 games. In the following years he was able to earn a regular place with the Starbulls. In the 2015/16 season he received a license from cooperation partner Straubing Tigers and played his first DEL game.

For the 2016/17 season Renner will join the Straubing Tigers in the German Ice Hockey League .

International

For Germany , Renner took part in the U20 Junior World Championship of Division IA 2012 .
