Secretaría de Educación Pública
The Secretaría de Educación Pública (SEP) is the political "secretariat (of the government) for public education" in Mexico , comparable to a ministry of education . It was founded in 1905 and is based in Mexico City in the original Dominican convent Convento de la Encarnación . The walls of the courtyards were decorated with murals by Diego Rivera until 1928 . In 1937 the former Real Aduana (royal customs office) was attached to the building.
