Manuel Gual Vidal

Manuel Gual Vidal (* 1903 in the state of Campeche ; † 1954 ) was a Mexican lawyer , university professor, brief rector of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and education minister.

biography

Gual graduated from the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria in 1918 and then studied law at the Escuela Nacional de Jurisprudencia . In 1926 he graduated as a lawyer, but from 1925 already taught as a professor of public international law. From 1939 to 1941 he was director of the Faculty of Law, later from August 3 to August 7, 1944 rector of the university. Miguel Alemán Valdés raised Gual during his presidency from 1946 to 1952 to the office of Secretario de Educación Pública , from 1950 he taught again as a professor of law.
