Genaro Fernández McGregor

Genaro Fernández McGregor (* 1883 in Mexico City ; † 1959 ) was a Mexican lawyer and former rector of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).

biography

Fernández studied at the Escuela Nacional de Jurisprudencia (ENJ) and graduated there in 1907.

From 1914 he taught as a professor at the university, including general history at the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria (ENP). From 1917 he taught international public law and civil law at the ENJ. In January 1932 he replaced Benito Flores Martínez as an arbitrator commissioned by the Mexican government in the Comisión México-Británica de Reclamaciones . From March 24, 1945 to February 28, 1946 he was Rector of UNAM.
